Therefore, people may not believe that Franklin D. Roosevelt can do so much like taking a stand for the great depression and creating programs for people so they won’t be jobless. President Franklin D. Roosevelt can only do what he can, and he did. He helped the Stock Market Crash and for the people who were jobless, he made programs for them. He can do things because he was the president but that doesn’t mean he has to have help in order to stop a situation. Though the relief and reform measures put into place by President Franklin D. Roosevelt helped lessen the worst effects of the Great Depression in the 1930s, the economy would not fully turn around until after 1939, when World War II kicked American industry into high gear.
